display course add codes on the MyUW teaching tab

As a admin assistant for faculty, I constantly have to go to the SDB to look up add codes, then send them to faculty. The printed ones get lost by faculty. It would be great if the faculty had access to add codes on the teaching section on MyUW.

    At the iSchool we would absolutely love web service access to add codes for exactly the reason Matt Winslow gave. It is complicated in that authorization would have to restrict access based on program (or something) though. For example, I shouldn't be able to pull add codes from non Information School programs, and other folks shouldn't be able to pull our add codes.

    It would help us greatly to have some way other than Keynes to pull add codes though. As-is, it's not exactly efficient at all.

    Maggie, giving unrestricted access of add codes to faculty would conflict with the way some depts control add codes, but a restful Web service would definitely give units the ability to develop systems for distributing the add codes in a way that best suits the unit.
